Anxiety takes many forms, such as social phobia, specific phobia, post traumatic stress disorder, general anxiety disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder.

When it comes to phobias and generalized anxiety, it has been shown in the research that when the people confront what they fear without getting the negative outcome they imagine, their sense of anxiety will gradually subside.

Though the combination of evidenced-based interventions and a strong therapeutic alliance, we have helped clients shift the way they view their surroundings while also strengthening their confidence in their ability to respond to their own intense emotions.

Post traumatic stress disorder, from a single incident traumatic event or chronic, complex trauma, can be treated in a relatively short period of time though the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
